Greenwood School Annual Fund
Dear Greenwood families & friends,
It’s that time of year again. Time to kick off the fundraising campaign that is critical to raising much needed dollars for the Greenwood School Annual Fund. The Fund, as you are no doubt aware, supports all areas of our school and helps us to provide students with the resources they need to flourish and grow academically, socially and emotionally.
We thank the many donors to last year’s, “Art’s in the Curriculum” campaign, whose generous contributions to the Fund raised $74,344.07 to support teacher/student-focused projects. It has allowed us to go the extra mile with curriculum, enhancing our already incredible programs, and provided more opportunities for students. We were able to enhance our art curriculum and drama facilities; providing new creative resources across the school for students. We have partially funded field trips, funded a whole school production for the 22-23 school year and have started our very own Thespian Troupe.
This year our Annual Fund focuses on the theme “Health and Wellness.”
We have already provided the students with a new outdoor fitness center in the Wetlands due to a generous grant from the PGA Redcoats. With the help of your generous donations this year, we will be able to provide students with even more opportunities to enjoy our outdoor spaces and continue to be able to prioritize physical, emotional and mental health and wellness for all of our students.
Thank you for supporting the mission of Greenwood School!

Testimonials
Student Voice:
“My mom and I went walking through the Wetlands and I saw the bridge. Greenwood to me represents hard work and finding your own success. Greenwood helps all of us cross that bridge to success. Greenwood shows love, care, and compassion for all.”
Devon Smith, 10th grade
Teacher Voice:
"I’ve never been more proud here at Greenwood. I got my boys in class who have never worked with makeup before all of sudden say “this is something I would do for the rest of my life.” To watch these students light up when making new connections and friends is worth more than gold. The look on their face when they anxiously wait for my reaction to their design is priceless."
Kaleb Sims, High School and Middle School Performing Arts
Parent Voice:
"My son immediately felt at home at Greenwood. Socially and academically, he has grown and thrived here. These are our people! We have found acceptance and an extension of our family here. I have had the great fortune to personally witness the daily acts of kindness, support and empathy that the students show each other here. I have seen and heard a thousand stories over the years, students going above and beyond to help others, many which make my heart swell with hope and pride in our school. I have become an avid ambassador for Greenwood, sharing that hope with as many families as possible."
