This coming week (Oct 14 -17) the Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the Greenwood Library. Hours of operation are 8:30 – 3:30 daily. On Friday October 17, the Book Fair will be open during the Friendraiser event, closing at 8:00 pm. The selection this year is a good as ever.
In addition to a large assortment of school supplies there’s over 300 books to browse. From top series to popular picks and everything in between, the choices are endless especially when you consider that the Book Fair is also available online. So if you can’t find that special book you want chances are that it is available to order from our Online Book Fair. Everyone knows that’s it’s a lot of fun to shop the Book Fair with your favorite student, but did you realize that it is also for a good cause?
All Book Fair sales directly benefit the school library and are a major source of books for the fiction collection. Reaching our goal of $2000.00 in sales translates to approximately 150 – 175 books that we can add to the library collection for student checkout. Plan to visit the Book Fair sometime this coming week, it will be fun and it will help your school library! As always, Greenwood School appreciates and thanks you for your support.
