Greenwood School is seeking a dedicated and experienced math faculty member to provide quality math instruction to high school students with learning differences. This position is central to cultivating students’ connection to core mathematical concepts through integrated studies, collaborative projects, and specialized instruction tailored to exceptional students.
The math faculty member will work closely with subject area and cross-curricular teams to develop and maintain a rigorous curriculum, while also managing student performance records and sponsoring at least one extra-curricular club or activity to support the school’s mission. While not required for hire, candidates with Florida Department of Education certification in Mathematics and/or Exceptional Student Education (ESE) are preferred.
Supervise students and follow the provided lesson plans, supporting students as necessary.
Minimum of 60 hours of college credits required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Successful completion of a background check is required.
