The Greenwood School’s mission is to provide a challenging and supportive education to middle and high school students with learning differences. Through adaptive multisensory instruction in a positive, safe and secure environment, students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve their highest potential in the classroom and beyond.
Greenwood School is truly a special place for our students to learn, grow and achieve. Many of our students come to Greenwood School with negative past experiences with schooling, low self-esteem and limited opportunities to shine.
Greenwood School provides our students the opportunity to excel and shine from the moment they step foot on our campus. We have an extraordinary faculty and staff that are highly trained and are committed to living our mission and making each moment count. They truly know how to differentiate the instruction so each and every student can learn and achieve. Greenwood is fortunate to have an amazing and supportive Board of Trustees who ensure that our faculty and staff have access and support to all that they need in the classroom and beyond.
It is an honor to lead Greenwood into the future. We have so much to be proud of and the future is bright for all who enter our building.
With gratitude,
“Being part of the sports teams at Greenwood has helped me to realize I can be a good leader and also how to show good sportsmanship with my teammates and opponents.”
“Greenwood helps all of us cross the bridge to success. Greenwood shows love, care, and compassion for all.”
Thanks to the generosity of THE PLAYERS Championship and the past tournament chairpersons, the Red Coats, Greenwood School has been the recipient of the Red Coat Community Grant. With these funds we have provided students with outdoor fitness equipment in the heart of our Wetlands to allow students to improve their physical fitness and wellbeing.
